LTAMDS Technical Manual Writer

DoD Secret clearance required. U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities

Assess engineering data for impacts to existing technical content.
Develop Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and technical manuals, including material addressing system functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, schematics, and illustrated parts breakdowns from compiled engineering reports, drawings, and parts lists.
Participate and support all safety and engineering peer reviews of technical manuals.
Participate and support all validation requirements and events.
Participate in quality reviews of materials.
Travel as needed (up to 20%).
Qualifications – Required

University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
Experience creating and editing written technical or non‑technical documentation in a military or civilian environment.
Experience working independently to analyze technical documentation.
Experience following established guidelines and standards.
Qualifications – Preferred

Experience with the Eagle Publishing System, MIL‑Standard40051 or S1000D.
Experience supporting projects in an Agile environment.
Experience working in a cross‑functional team with strong communication skills.
Agile mindset with the ability to pivot when circumstances change.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking.
Knowledgeable with ICC and Fire Unit Operations.
Patriot Master Gunner or Top Gun graduate.
Knowledgeable on organizational maintenance and remove‑and‑replace techniques.
Knowledgeable with radar theory and radar propagation.
