Redtech is helping our client with a Contractor search for a

Consumer facing - UX/UIDesigner with strong Figma experience.

Location – Downtown Seattle, WA -

Hybrid – onsite 4 days a week in Seattle office (parking is not paid so public transportation is ideal)

Duration

– 3 - 6 months to start with extensions possible

Must be able to successfully pass a background check

Compensation Range Monthly -

$7,650 - $9,860/month ($45-58/hr W-2)

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

High Priorities

Extensive and recent Consumer facing UI/UX Design, ideally for mid-size corporate environments

Figma software skill - particularly around maintaining, building a Figma design system

Comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements

Must provide a portfolio of work or deck

This UX role using a combination of user experience and user interface design skills. This designer will design experiences across for 2 CLIENT brands/lines of business. They will be responsible for designing responsive, customer-facing experiences and flows for the core web booking experience across both brands. They will partner with product managers on both small A/B tests/optimizations and larger feature development, in addition to collaborating with the UX team on best practices and adhering to design system and principles.

Responsibilities

Synthesize ambiguous or broad business requests by asking the right questions, organizing potential solutions, and using effective methodologies

Continue to build and maintain design system, best practices, and standards

Work with UX lead and UX team for guidance and sign-off, ensuring design cohesion and quality bar is met

Innovate across a range of products, platforms, and devices. Can manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Execute across the full design lifecycle from concept to hand-off for development

Work with development teams to provide visual requirements and detailed workflows (specifications); conduct design UAT and give feedback

Understand and design for templates and components that comprise the authoring and publishing experience of the Adobe Experience Manager CMS platform

Represent UX in A/B testing; partnering with product managers to ideate and design

When needed, create wireframes, storyboards, or user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Conduct user research to draw insights into pain points

Leverage AI tooling to rapidly ideate and prototype solutions for socialization and testing

What we are looking for

High level of proficiency in Figma and Adobe tools. Motion design is a plus!

Familiar with working with Agile development

Familiarity with designing for a CMS platform

Degree in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related — or equivalent work experience

Experience as a consumer-facing UI/UX Designer for at least 4 years in a digital product environment or digital marketing team in a mid-size corporate environment - e-commerce experiences is a plus

Excellent interpersonal skills – humor, humbleness, and grace

Ability to navigate a dynamic environment where priorities may shift rapidly, and ambiguity is common

Self-directed but also collaborative

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Possess a healthy approach to embracing feedback, owning mistakes, and seeking growth opportunities
