Seeking Talent for Upcoming Show in DC

Seeking actors and spoken word artists for "The Storyteller Showcase" show. Please find the details below.
ONLY MD, VA & LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Rate: Non-paid. All artists will receive footage and/or photos from their performance which can be used for their portfolio (i.e. actors' access, auditions, school applications, etc.). Lunch and snacks will be provided.
All performers will have 5 minutes to perform either an original spoken word poem, monologue or scene. All spoken word poems must be original work from the performer, monologues and scenes can either be original work or sourced from a play or film. If you are an actor interested in performing a scene with one other actor feel free to apply, more time can be allocated but opportunities to perform scenes are limited and will be permitted on a case‑by‑case basis.
Criteria

Have a commitment to develop their craft
Looking for a creative playground
Looking to network and build relationships with other like‑minded artists
Want to build their portfolio
Have prior experience with acting and/or spoken word (this can be from school, conservatory training, or informal experience)

Location: Laurel, MD
Submission form due: June 7th
Group rehearsals start June 29th (this date is subject to change)
Show will take place July 26th
