Role Summary
The Creative Technologist I is a hybrid strategic and hands‑on technical role responsible for translating client vision into executable reality. This role operates at the intersection of client communication, systems design, software development, physical integration, and live deployment.

The Creative Technologist works from pre‑sales through launch, ensuring that experiential concepts are technically sound, properly scoped, and successfully executed. They serve as the primary technical voice in client discussions while also guiding internal teams through implementation.

This role blends solution architecture, systems thinking, prototyping, QA oversight, and technical problem‑solving across digital and physical domains.

The Creative Technologist ensures that what we imagine can actually be built, and that what we build works flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client‑Facing Technical Leadership

Participate in discovery and pre‑sales conversations to evaluate technical feasibility and risk.

Translate clientobjectivesinto technical strategies and high‑level systemarchitectures.

Evaluatescopechanges in real time and advise on technical, budget, and timeline implications.

Act as a technical liaison so clientsand project managerscan focus on outcomes instead of engineering details.

Partner with Sales and Project Management to ensureaccuratetechnical scoping and estimation.

2. Technical Architecture & Systems Integration

Design high‑level system architectures for experiential activations (software, hardware, AV, fabrication integration).

Ensure technical decisions align with budget, timeline, and operational constraints.

Define integration requirements across:

Software platforms

Physical computing and electronics

Fabrication and scenic elements

AV systems

Network infrastructure

DevOps and deployment environments

Identifytechnical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.

3. Execution & Hands‑On Technical Contribution

Contribute directly to development, prototyping, orelectronicsintegration as needed.

Oversee technical QA processes for software and creative deliverables.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and fabricators to refine implementation details.

Lead or support electronics prototyping and technology integration into fabricated elements.

Support live event execution and technical troubleshooting whenrequired.

4. DevOps & Operational Readiness

Guidedeployment strategies and infrastructure planning.

Ensure systems are stable, secure, and maintainable.

Support documentation of technical systems for long‑term support

Guide /participateintesting processes to ensure final deliveryistechnically sound andproduction‑ready.

5. Internal Alignment & Communication

Translate technical updates into actionable internal tasks.

Work with Project Managers to align technical requirements with scope and budget.

Help define technical workstreams and resource requirements.

Serve as a mentor and technical resource across the creative and software teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience across software development, systems integration, or technical architecture.

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders.

Experience in experiential, themed entertainment, live events, or interactive environments.

Hands‑on capability in at least one technical domain (software development, electronics, AV systems, fabrication integration, etc.).

Systems thinking mindset,able to see how components interact across digital and physical layers.

Experience with testing methodologies and deployment workflows.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving project environments.
