SFJAZZ is seeking a creative and experienced Video Producer to join our Digital team. The Video Producer leads end-to-end video production for SFJAZZ and its SFJAZZ At Home digital platform — from live capture and recording to post-production editing, delivery, and new video product development.
Reporting to the Director of Digital, this role works cross-functionally with the Production, Marketing, Education, Artistic, and Digital teams. The Video Producer is the lead operator of SFJAZZ’s in-house video system, overseeing live performance capture at the SFJAZZ Center. The role also takes lead with SFJAZZ’s mobile studio setup to quickly transform spaces within the SFJAZZ Center to film artist interviews, educational content and more.
Success in this role requires strong technical fluency in live video production, broadcasting standards, editing workflows, audio signal flow, lighting, and real-time troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings exceptional attention to detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Passion and curiosity for innovation, experimentation, live music and jazz are all major pluses.
