Junior Editor / DP

Broughton Group, Atlanta, GA, USA

Pay: 60.000 - 80.000

Job type: Full Time

We're looking for a creative and driven Junior Video Editor/DP to join our team and help bring our internal and social content to life. This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives and breathes video — someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera as they are in an edit suite, and who is hungry to grow their craft in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Edit and produce internal videos, social content, and branded assets from raw footage through to final delivery.

Operate cameras and manage simple single or multi‑camera setups for interviews, product shoots, and social content.

Work primarily in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve to edit, color grade, and motion design content.

Build and maintain organized project files, media libraries, and edit timelines.

Collaborate with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to understand content goals and translate them into compelling video.

Create motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, and basic animations using After Effects.

Color correct and grade footage to maintain a consistent visual identity.

Export and deliver content optimized for various platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, internal presentations, etc.).

Manage shoot logistics for simple productions — lighting setup, audio capture, and camera operation.

Qualifications

Strong, demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, including multicam editing, audio syncing, timeline management, organized project workflows, and exporting content optimized for multiple platforms.

Working proficiency in After Effects, including motion graphics, compositing, keyframing, and creation of titles, lower thirds, and basic animations.

Experience with DaVinci Resolve, including color correction, color grading, LUT application, and final export workflows.

Confident camera operator with experience using DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema‑style cameras, including single and multi‑camera setups for interviews, product shoots, and social content.

Curiosity about AI‑powered tools and video generation technologies, and an active exploration of how they can be integrated into production and post‑production workflows to enhance creativity and speed up delivery.

Hands‑on production experience managing lighting setups (3‑point lighting and natural light environments), audio capture, and basic on‑set production logistics.

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, including pacing, composition, sound design awareness, and maintaining a consistent visual identity across projects.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining highly organized project files, media libraries, and edit timelines.

Exposure to visual effects workflows, including green screen, tracking, and compositing (nice‑to‑have).

Introductory experience with 3D software such as Cinema 4D or Blender (nice‑to‑have).

Familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator (nice‑to‑have).

Experience with audio editing and sound design (nice‑to‑have).

Demonstrated passion for video production through a portfolio, reel, personal creative projects, or YouTube/channel work.

Ability to work on‑site or in a hybrid capacity as needed for production days.
