Ashley, the #1 Mattress and Furniture retailer in North America, has an immediate opening for a Regional Visual Presentation Manager. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing a consistent presence and communicating with Visual Designers in their areas to ensure AGR processes are being followed. The Regional Visual Manager reviews and assesses the overall presentation of the showroom to meet AGR standards for guest readiness. The RVPM collaborates with VPMs in concept development, planning and implementation of creative display projects and holds the team accountable for operational tasks such as price changes, inventory, and display of marketing materials.

This role is for the St. Louis, MO area.

Key Responsibilities

Intimate knowledge of AGR showroom tactical processes, proper lighting, furniture staging techniques, and understanding of furniture styles/categories.

Ensure day-to-day management and preparation of their “home” Homestore.

Maintain consistent in-person store visits and follow-up with each store in the district to ensure presentation is properly executed for guest readiness.

Provide structure, train and develop the stores Visual Designers to enhance performance and growth opportunities.

Maintain continuous communication with Regional Visual Manager on store performance.

Follow and execute the “VEC Summary” document and process to align VM, Store Manager, and DSG Management team expectations.

Ensure consistent and accurate Environmental Presentation, product placement, product association awareness, backroom cleanliness, internal communication, and leadership aligned with store performance expectations.

Travel 4–5 days per month on average, mostly 1–2 night stays per trip. Special circumstances may require travel for store openings, refreshes, or corporate meetings.

Outline weekly duties and execute on expectations set for Visual Presentation Managers.

Monitor and report regional KPIs to the regional Director of Visual Merchandising.

Streamline communication through the Merchandising department to ensure clarity of job specific duties.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and DSG Operating Systems.

College degree preferred; high school diploma required.

2–3 years of experience in a retail home furnishings organization.

Experience with merchandising trends, consumer behavior, and competitive pressures.

Strong verbal and communication skills.

Efficient and effective multi-tasking skills.

Organizational skills.

Basic computer skills.

MS Office proficiency.

Physical Requirements
May include sitting, speaking, standing, climbing, pushing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. May need to exert up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently. Close visual acuity required. Work typically performed under conditions found in general office or administrative work.
