About the Team
The Enterprise Ad Sales Team is responsible for the marketing vision, development, and growth of our largest advertising partnerships. This team is rapidly growing and is seeking additional team members to build an industry‑leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash's advertising offering. The growing DoorDash ads business will quickly become the single best place for advertisers to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, Non‑Endemic on our New Ventures sales team, you will play a key role in activating and growing DoorDash's ads business with advertisers outside of our core verticals. As a hybrid sales and account management role, you will support the full sales cycle – from pitching prospective clients and responding to RFPs, to activating campaigns and reporting on results – helping establish DoorDash as a go‑to media partner for non‑endemic brands in categories like entertainment, travel, and sports. You will work closely with our agency sales team to unlock brand budgets and bring new advertisers onto the platform. In this role, you’ll need to be organized, scrappy, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment where you’re helping build something new. You will report into the Head of New Ventures within the Ad Sales org, as part of our Enterprise Sales organization.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will
Support pitches and proposals for net new entertainment, travel, and sports advertisers and similar categories, helping connect brand objectives to DoorDash's unique audience and ad products
Respond to RFPs in partnership with internal teams, contributing to competitive, insight‑driven submissions that win new business
Activate new campaigns end‑to‑end, coordinating with Ad Operations and Account Management to ensure smooth launches and strong client experiences
Build and maintain relationships with brand‑direct clients and agency partners across your assigned categories
Track and report on campaign performance, translating results into clear client‑facing recaps that demonstrate value and inform future investment
Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, analytics, and product teams to deliver against client KPIs and contribute to a growing category
We're excited about you because
You have experience working with or supporting advertisers in entertainment, travel, sports, or similar brand categories, either at a media company or agency – added bonus if at a retail media network
You are highly organized and thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and no two days look the same
You think analytically and can use data and performance insights to tell a compelling story to clients and internal stakeholders
You are a strong communicator – written, verbal, and visual – and build trust easily with clients and colleagues
You are eager to learn the full sales cycle and equally comfortable supporting a pitch as you are managing the details of a live campaign
You are entrepreneurial at the core and excited by the opportunity to help build something from the ground up at a high‑growth company
