Job Description
The Associate Digital Designer is responsible for creating bold, innovative digital designs for a vast array of housewares brands, working directly with the design, copy, and e‑commerce teams to develop content (A+ pages, infographics, brand store pages) for Amazon.com and other online retailers.

The ideal candidate has:

2-5 years experience creating e‑commerce projects and an understanding of the crucial design elements that make products pop among competitors.
The ability to multitask, exceptional attention to detail, a keen sense of organization, and dedication to meeting continuous deadlines.

The position is currently hybrid, with 2 days onsite in Garden City, NY and from home as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow direction in briefs to create exciting, attention‑grabbing assets for e‑commerce pages.

Develop seamless responsive e‑commerce presentations that translate from desktop to tablet to mobile platforms.

Extensive Photoshop editing of lifestyle images, including color correction, inserting products into existing scenes, and more.

Ensure designs follow brand style guidelines, with agility to switch vision to conform to the unique spirit of multiple housewares brands.

Collaborate continuously with digital design director, VP of creative services, category managers, the e‑commerce team, copywriters, and proofreaders.

Produce several versions of designs for review for a number of teams, and handle criticism from various levels constructively.

Churn out assets quickly, efficiently, and accurately; route to teams through RoboHead project management platform for review.

Keep assets accessible and shareable in properly labeled and organized folders on shared servers.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in digital design.

Outstanding portfolio showcasing extensive experience with digital assets, with a focus on e‑commerce.

Deep understanding of design principles and current design trends and technologies.

Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Google Suite.

Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Self‑motivated with a positive attitude.

Education: BA/BFA in Graphic Design and Media Arts.
