Time off and much more!

Tao Group Hospitality is home to some of New York City’s most celebrated dining and rooftop experiences. Our Marketing Team is looking for a hands‑on Social Media Content Creator to become the primary visual voice for a focused portfolio of our New York restaurant and rooftop venues. You’ll shoot, edit, and publish original photo and video content that captures the beauty of our food, the energy of our spaces, and the culture our guests come back for. This is a creator role in every sense: you’re behind the camera, in the edit, and pushing publish.

To apply, submit your resume alongside a link to your portfolio, Instagram, or TikTok — somewhere we can see your work in context. We’re especially drawn to candidates whose content makes food and spaces feel worth experiencing. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Shoot original photo and video content on‑site across our dedicated portfolio Capturing dishes, cocktails, plating details, ambient interiors, rooftop skylines, and guest moments that feel alive and authentic

Edit and produce short‑form video (Reels, TikToks) and static imagery optimized for Instagram and TikTok, with a strong eye for food and lifestyle aesthetics

Develop and maintain a rolling content calendar in close collaboration with the Hotel Marketing Team, ensuring each brand has its own distinct visual identity and consistent posting cadence

Adapt your creative approach across the distinct venue personalities.

Stay ahead of platform trends, audio cycles, and content formats, and translate them into content that feels native to each venue rather than borrowed from a template

Capture seasonal menus, chef features, cocktail programming, and special events as they happen — including weekend brunch service and rooftop activations

Monitor content performance across your venues and share insights with the team; use data to sharpen your creative instincts over time

Coordinate shoot timing with venue operations to get the best content without disrupting the guest experience

Occasionally support select nightlife and entertainment activations within the broader Tao Group portfolio

Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

2–4 years of hands‑on social media content creation experience, ideally with a strong portfolio in food, dining, or lifestyle — you’ve made a plate of food look like it deserves a reservation

Skilled content shooter in both photo and video — confident with a DSLR or mirrorless camera and equally comfortable shooting on iPhone in natural and ambient restaurant light

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut for video editing; Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop for photo work

Deep fluency in Instagram and TikTok — you understand what stops the scroll, what drives saves, and why pacing matters as much as the shot itself

A refined visual sensibility — you naturally think in composition, color, and mood, and can shift your aesthetic register between a meditative Japanese dining room and an open‑air rooftop at sunset

Organized and self‑directed: you can manage a multi‑venue content calendar without being micromanaged

Genuine passion for food, dining culture, and the New York restaurant scene — this isn’t a category you cover, it’s one you live in

Availability to work weekends and some evenings, especially during peak dining service and seasonal activations

Formal background in photography, videography, or a related creative discipline preferred

Experience shooting in low‑light or high‑ambient‑noise dining and event environments preferred

Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics platforms preferred

Experience managing content across multiple distinct brand identities simultaneously preferred

Understanding of luxury hospitality aesthetics and how to balance aspirational content with approachability preferred

Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
