Hiring: Senior Corporate Communications Specialist

Contract Duration - 12 months/W2


We are hiring a Corporate Communications Specialist for our client in the Energy & Utilities sector. This role is ideal for a communications professional with a passion for strategic storytelling, executive communications, employee engagement, and content creation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies, partnering with leadership, and delivering impactful messaging across multiple communication channels.

Responsibilities

  • Execute communication plans for internal and external audiences.
  • Create original content including newsletters, employee communications, social media posts, intranet articles, fact sheets, and news releases.
  • Partner with executives and business leaders to develop key messaging and communication materials.
  • Provide editorial support, content development, message review, and approval coordination.
  • Manage communications across multiple delivery channels including web, print, video, social media, email, and in-person events.
  • Support executive communications, employee engagement, and corporate communication initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure communication consistency and alignment.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and tactics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, or a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong content creation, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Experience supporting executive and employee communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing communications through multiple channels and formats.
  • Strong understanding of social media communications.
  • Ability to simplify complex business and technical information for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
