Account Manager

Location: Austin, TX. Salary $40,000 – $50,000 plus commissions. Position Type: Full-time, Salaried.
Responsibilities

Generate best-in-class strategic proposals combining ideation, research, statistical data and graphics.
Identify target audiences for campaigns and decide how best to communicate to them.
Collaborate with team members to understand clients’ business objectives and develop comprehensive media strategy.
Participate daily in media buying, planning and execution of each campaign.
Maintain and optimize client campaigns to improve performance against benchmarks continuously.
Deliver on all broadcast, digital, social and podcast deliverables to meet booked dollar amounts.
Work with ad/pod operations to troubleshoot creative/tracking opportunities.
Provide post‑campaign analysis by partnering with subject‑matter experts and creating comprehensive recaps, learnings and recommendations.
Collaborate with internal billing and finance teams monthly to reconcile billing promptly.
Handle day‑to‑day duties such as digital asset creation and delivery tracking, research, ideation, strategic proposal writing, statistical analysis, campaign financial reconciliation, schedule building and creative trafficking.
Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and balance competing priorities.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications

3–5+ years of media and project‑management experience at a major advertising agency and/or client side.
Firm understanding of media assets, terminology, methodology and delivery reports.
Excellent communication, teamwork and adaptability in dynamic workflow environments.
Strong analytical, resourceful problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
Solid math skills and experience with campaign budget tracking, invoicing and financial reconciliation across multiple platforms and vendors.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and major social‑media platforms (Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.).
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $40,000 to $50,000, with additional commission eligibility. Compensation is based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications and market data.
