There is increased earning potential based on experience and sales performance./ppCompetitive Base Pay with Uncapped Commission, Bonus Opportunities, Company SIMPLE IRA (3% matching), PTO and paid Holidays, Professional Development, and Job Stability in a growing industry are some of the perks./ppResponsibilities include answering customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies and service all claims, working with prospects to pre-qualify and understand their needs, setting appointments and/or client calls to review existing policies, conferring with customers to provide detailed information about products and services, actively soliciting increases in coverage or rounding out accounts at every service contact, resolving product or service issues, maintaining records of customer interactions and transactions, reviewing audits or policies, keeping informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology, and participating in meetings as needed./ppQualifications include holding an active North Carolina Property and Casualty insurance license and having a minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience, as well as a Bachelors Degree or comparable work experience. Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations is required. Strong customer focus, excellent phone manner, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent math and reading skills, ability to handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision, strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills, and technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems are also required. Preferred but not required active North Carolina Life insurance license./ppCompensation: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year/p/div
