We are seeking a skilled Content Writer / Copy Writer to create engaging, educational, and search-optimized web content that supports customer education and digital engagement initiatives.
This role will focus heavily on long-form digital content creation for resource-center style webpages, including educational articles, consumer guidance content, and SEO/GEO-optimized experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong experience writing web content designed to improve discoverability, engagement, and customer understanding across digital channels.
This position is less focused on traditional UX writing and more focused on digital copywriting, SEO strategy, educational web content, and content optimization for modern search experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Write and edit long-form digital content for customer-facing webpages and resource centers
Develop educational and informational web content optimized for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
Create compelling copy that improves customer engagement and supports business goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, design, marketing, product, and stakeholders
Optimize content structure, metadata, headlines, and page organization for search discoverability
Ensure content aligns with brand voice, accessibility standards, and digital best practices
Use data, analytics, and search trends to improve content effectiveness and engagement
Support AI-assisted content workflows and prompt-based content optimization initiatives
Participate in portfolio walkthroughs and present writing samples during interviews
Required Qualifications

Strong experience in digital copywriting and web content creation
Experience creating SEO-optimized long-form content for websites or resource centers
Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) concepts and AI-driven search trends
Experience writing educational, informational, or advice-style content
Strong portfolio showcasing published web content and digital writing samples
Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing content related to insurance, financial services, or consumer products
Pet insurance content experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with AI writing and prompt tools
Experience working with tools such as Figma and Slack
Understanding of digital content strategy and customer engagement best practices
Portfolio Expectations

Candidates must be prepared to present their portfolio during interviews
Portfolio walkthrough is a significant part of the evaluation process
Suppliers are encouraged to submit portfolio links when available
Candidates should be able to discuss strategy, SEO/GEO considerations, and business impact of their work
