We're partnering with a fast-growing, award-winning sustainable hydration company to find their first National Director of Sales. This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and sales - you'll own commercial growth, build a team from the ground up, and help shape where this company goes next. The product is innovative, the mission is real, and the runway is significant.
What you'll do
Build and execute GTM strategy through partner networks and key account relationships, with a focus on expanding into the food service space
Identify and evaluate market expansion opportunities domestically and internationally
Lead contract negotiations on pricing and packaging; set sales targets and own reporting
Build and grow a sales team over time
Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events; collaborate cross-functionally with marketing
This is a player-coach role, at least in the near term
What we're looking for
Deep experience in food service - this is a technical, complex, long-cycle sale and you need to understand the selling environment
Proven ability to build and manage a sales team while still closing deals yourself
Background in water, sustainability, food service consulting, or contracted managed services in food and beverage - existing relationships are a major plus
Experience in a startup or growth-stage environment is a plus - you're comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
CRM proficiency required (HubSpot preferred, not required)
Comfortable with 50%+ travel, primarily domestic with some international
