Role Overview
Creation of effective out‑of‑home ads that meet the objectives and needs of our clients and prospective clients. In doing so, help educate our sales staff and clients as to what makes legible, and at times, inspiring outdoor advertising. The designing of ads will include copy writing, image sourcing and/or illustrating. Once the ads are created the preparation of art mechanicals will need to be produced. The Art Director will also need to assist clients who are providing their own creative for various reasons. Also, managing and creating internal sales materials with the look and feel of OUTFRONT Media design, with approval from the Creative Director.
Responsibilities
Providing Contracted and Speculative Art to promote sales.
Making print‑ready mechanicals to fulfill local contracts.
Working with Account Executives and Clients to create engaging ads.
Assisting and/or managing traffic of creative jobs.
Help educate and uphold the creative integrity of your market.
Attend meetings to present artwork to Clients.
Take lead on creative projects when needed.
Very good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and design best practices.
Supports and exhibits behavior consistent with the sales and service philosophy of OUTFRONT Media. Acts with diplomacy as a representative of the Sales Department.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
College education in Design, Communications, and Art.
Knowledge of advertising design concepts and executions as it pertains to Out‑Of‑Home and the medium’s unique challenges.
An understanding of team environment and the ability to flourish within; in some cases leading/creating that team environment.
Experience with, and proficiency in software applications used for graphic design, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Quark XPress.
