Position Summary
The Events, Tradeshow & Marketing Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events, trade shows, and related marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at collaborating across teams to deliver well executed, memorable brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Tradeshows
Assist with the planning and execution of events and trade shows including on-site support
Coordinate logistics including venues, vendors, shipping, registrations, travel, and on-site needs
Support exhibitor booth management, materials preparation, and inventory tracking
Assist with post-event reporting, lead tracking, and follow-up activities
Collaborate on booth design, branded premiums and event signage
Administrative & Coordination Duties
Maintain event timelines, checklists, and project documentation
Manage event budgets, expense tracking, PO submission and invoice processing
Help maintain event databases and contact lists
Perform general administrative tasks related to marketing and events
Maintain assets like signage, booth designs and web pages to make sure information is current
Qualifications
Required
1–3 years of experience in events, marketing, hospitality, or administrative support
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Is composed under pressure
Preferred
Experience with trade shows or corporate events
Familiarity with, event platforms like Cvent, or marketing and sales platforms like Sales Force, Asana, etc.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
Skills & Competencies
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Problem-solving mindset with adaptability under pressure
Physical & Travel Requirements
Ability to lift and transport event materials (up to 25–30 lbs as needed)
Ability to travel (domestically) and work occasional evenings or weekends
