Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines Strong understanding of cannabis culture, consumer behavior, and NYC cannabis market trends. Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events when needed.
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manage SMS/email campaigns and loyalty automations in Alpine IQ. Build customer segments for targeting and promotions. Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business. Must be highly active and creative on social media with the ability to create engaging daily content, stories, reels, and trend-driven campaigns. Experience planning and executing influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, and community engagement campaigns. Ability to host, organize, and coordinate in-store events, pop-ups, vendor activations, educational events, and promotional experiences. Comfortable being on camera, interacting with customers, vendors, influencers, and representing the brand publicly. Strong knowledge of social media growth strategies, analytics, engagement optimization, and content scheduling tools. Experience creating marketing calendars and managing campaign timelines across multiple platforms. Ability to create compliant, on-brand marketing materials for digital and print promotions. Proficiency in Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or video editing experience is a plus.
Data & Reporting Pull weekly and monthly reports from Alpine IQ, Surfside, and POS dashboards. Organize campaign data into clear recaps that highlight performance and areas for improvement. Ability to analyze market data and consumer trends to inform marketing strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences
Graphic Design & Asset Creation Create compliant, on-brand visuals for email, SMS, signage, in-store menus, and promotions using Canva (Adobe Suite is a bonus). Maintain and update design templates for recurring campaigns. Support freelance designers by coordinating requests, timelines, and reviews when needed. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media and content creation
Compliance Oversight Ensure all materials follow NYC cannabis marketing laws including age-gating, appropriate language, and restricted claims. Review digital and print content for accuracy and alignment with regulations (OCM guidance).
Project & Calendar Support Maintain a detailed marketing calendar (Asana or Notion). Support coordination across marketing vendors, team members, and departments to keep campaigns on track.
Desired Skills Experience in cannabis retail, lifestyle, hospitality, or entertainment marketing preferred. Strong understanding of social media trends, viral content, influencer collaborations, and audience engagement strategies. Experience growing Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms through consistent content creation and community interaction. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
