Execute and lead Colorado-based Extended Day Travel Programs while supporting a group of neurodiverse travelers in a 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1, or overall group ratio by ensuring safety management and inclusive mindset are met by the entire team in addition to day-of lead tasks and communication.

We plan and execute inclusive and accessible day trips and overnight trips alongside, and for, individuals with neurodiversities and disabilities.
Description

QUALIFICATIONS
Interest and passion for working with individuals with disabilities
Consent to a background & driving record check
Attend one interview/shadow day before your first official program
Current CPR & First Aid (must stay current and up to date)
Must abide by agency COVID-19 a& safety protocols
Ability to implement agency vision, mission, values
Ability to handle multiple tasks and assess and change plans accordingly
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and exercise personal judgment
Strategic thinker who communicates professionally and effectively with diverse staff, volunteers, prospects, and community stakeholders
Must possess a driver's license, meet background check criteria, and meet criteria regarding clearance to drive company vehicles including a 15-passenger van.
Ability to work at high altitudes in varying conditions (we are in the Mile High City and like to venture into the mountains for programming!)
Able to successfully manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced and often crowded environment
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
1 or more year(s) of education or experience working with individuals with neurodiversities and disabilities or in a related field
Flexibility and commitment to work with all Travelers and utilize tools and supports specific to individual travelers
Ability to drive our 15-passenger van (with training) or your personal vehicle for programming
Correctly follow TTG's safety and lead protocols on every program
Provide support to Trailblazers and Travelers throughout the day alongside your own pairing
Successfully execute the daily agenda and make timely decisions
Respectfully communicate with all team members and Travelers
Include the Traveler in confidently advocating for their needs while out in the community
Maintain open lines of communication with respective parent/guardian/caregivers during program
Attend supplemental mandatory training pertaining to your role (CPR, seizure protocol, etc.) provided by TTG
Perform other applicable duties as assigned
TIME REQUIREMENT
Program Leads are expected work (minimum) 10 - (maximum) 30 hours per week in our Extended Day Programming
Work days may vary between weekdays and weekends. Program locations are determined by the activity schedule.
Schedule is subject to change based on TTG and team members needs
COMPENSATION
Starting $18.81/hour
Compensation will vary based on numerous other factors, including but not limited to experience, education, training, credentials, and performance.
