Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Environmental Services department strives to maintain a high degree of quality service and health care experience by maintaining a pleasant environment for employees, patients and visitors. Our team ensures that patient rooms and ancillary areas are clean; trash and bio-hazardous waste is safely removed; and clean linen, laundry and floor care are properly monitored. We take pride in conserving energy and increasing the use of “green” products and techniques, and providing quality services in a cost effective and efficient manner.
As the Director, you will manage the Environmental Services department to ensure the effective and efficient operation of housekeeping and linen services at Straub Benioff Medical Center. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction over department activities related to EVS and develop and implement departmental tactics that align with Hawaii Pacific Health's strategic plan to ensure outstanding patient care. As the Director, you are responsible for strategy development and complete operational oversight of the department.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Seven (7) years progressive housekeeping or environmental services related experience, to include lead or supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Health Care Environmental Services Professional (CHESP). Current International Executive Housekeepers Association.
