The Planet Group is seeking a UX Architect to join one of our well-known healthcare clients, supporting complex, enterprise-scale digital products focused on big data, workflow orchestration, and healthcare user experiences.

This is a senior-level UX strategy and systems design role, ideal for someone who goes beyond traditional UX/UI and thrives in architecting scalable product experiences, workflows, and design systems across highly matrixed environments.

  • Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday
  • Pay: $90–102/hr W2 DOE + benefit options
  • Duration: Contract with potential to convert

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end information architecture, interaction models, and workflow orchestration for complex healthcare products
  • Create user journeys, task flows, wireflows, and conceptual models for enterprise-scale platforms
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to align product strategy and execution
  • Translate research, analytics, and behavioral insights into scalable UX frameworks and system-level experiences
  • Drive design systems thinking and architectural consistency across platforms and ecosystems
  • Support prototyping, usability validation, and iterative workflow optimization
  • Influence product strategy through systems thinking and user‑centered design leadership

What They’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of UX Architecture, Product Design, Information Architecture, or UX Strategy experience
  • Healthcare industry experience required
  • Experience designing for big data, analytics‑heavy, or workflow‑intensive platforms
  • Strong systems thinking and experience architecting complex digital experiences
  • Expertise with Figma and Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Experience with design systems, product strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Portfolio showcasing workflows, architecture diagrams, systems thinking, and big data UX/UI work
  • Practical experience with Generative AI and understanding of GenAI concepts required
  • Coding/front‑end experience is a plus

This is NOT a purely visual design role. The team is specifically looking for someone who can conceptualize product strategy, architect scalable user experiences, and bridge the gap between UX, product, and engineering.
