The Opportunity
WP Engine is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join their Marketing team. In this role, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the company’s public websites, including their primary website which is a headless WordPress application.
Responsibilities
-Develop new website features using React and modern WordPress practices
-Collaborate with designers and marketers to create user-friendly experiences
-Migrate content from old websites to the new platform
-Improve development tools and processes
-Work with the engineering team to enhance the WP Engine platform
Qualifications
-Strong understanding of modern WordPress development
-Expertise in native block development using React
-Experience with React, JavaScript, and PHP
-Excellent front-end development skills (HTML, CSS)
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-Strong communication and collaboration skills
