What You'll Do
- Provide front‑line customer service to students, parents, and campus personnel via phone, email, and in person.
- Process and receipt student payments (cash, check, credit card, electronic funds).
- Manage student‑related receivables and ensure accurate departmental billing.
- Reconcile accounts, research discrepancies, and coordinate corrections.
- Prepare and distribute student billing statements and third‑party invoices.
- Maintain dual enrollment student payments and account holds.
- Monitor past‑due accounts and assist with collection efforts.
- Process and certify Veteran Affairs (VA) education benefits and maintain compliance.
- Prepare and distribute IRS tax documents (Forms 1098‑T and 1042‑S).
- Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IX, and institutional privacy standards.
- Perform other student accounts‑related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; Associate degree/certificate preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance‑related roles.
- Hands‑on experience with reconciliations and financial record accuracy.
- Strong customer service and financial judgment skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook; experience with Empower preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle complex tasks.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
