We offer a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with unique opportunities to grow, develop, and be part of a fun, family-centered culture.About the OpportunityThe Vice President of Sales for Chelsea Piers Connecticut is responsible for driving top line revenue growth across all business lines through a unified, strategic sales approach. This role leads the development and execution of an integrated sales strategy that aligns fitness, events, sponsorships and partnerships, and all on-site activity under a ONE TEAM philosophy, ensuring every part of the business is working together to maximize revenue and performance.The VP of Sales serves as the central revenue engine for the business, owning pipeline development, conversion, and customer lifetime value across all verticals. This role partners closely with Sports, Fitness, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment between product, pricing, demand generation, and execution.Reporting to the Executive Director, the VP of Sales is expected to operate with urgency, accountability, and a strong bias toward action, consistently identifying opportunities to drive revenue and improve performance.Status: Full-Time; ExemptSchedule: In-Person at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CTCompensation: Based on experiencePrimary ResponsibilitiesRevenue Strategy and Business PerformanceOwn and drive top-line revenue across all core business lines including fitness, memberships, sponsorships and partnerships, events, birthday parties, and rentalsDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that increases acquisition, conversion, and customer lifetime valueEstablish clear revenue targets, pipeline expectations, and performance benchmarks across all sales channelsPartner closely with Sports leadership to align programming, pricing, and capacity with demand, driving maximum revenue across all sports offeringsPartner with Finance to track performance through weekly dashboards and monthly reportingIdentify short-term revenue opportunities and long-term growth strategiesSponsorship and Partnership Strategy (Connecticut)Own and lead the sponsorship and partnership strategy for the Connecticut business, while coordinating with New YorkIdentify, secure, and grow strategic partnerships that drive meaningful revenue and enhance brand positioningBuild and manage a pipeline of local, regional, and national partners aligned with business prioritiesPartner with Marketing, Operations, and leadership teams to ensure effective activation and deliveryIntegrated Sales Strategy Across All Business LinesDevelop and execute a unified sales strategy across sports, camps, events, fitness, and rentalsEliminate silos and implement a centralized sales approach across departmentsEstablish clear sales processes, ownership, and accountability aligned to overall revenue strategyDrive cross-selling initiatives to maximize yield across the full Chelsea Piers ecosystemPartner with Sports and Operations to align sales efforts with programming capacity and inventoryFitness Revenue Strategy and Model TransformationLead the redesign and execution of the fitness revenue model, including membership structure and pricing strategyDevelop scalable sales strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and overall member valuePartner closely with Fitness leadership in both Connecticut and New York to align programming, pricing, and sales approachEnsure successful rollout of the new model, with clear timelines, benchmarks, and accountabilityLeadership, Team Performance, and AccountabilityDirectly oversee the Membership Sales and Event Sales teams, including hiring, development, and performance managementEstablish clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability structures across all sales functionsBuild a high-performance, metrics-driven sales culture focused on resultsEnsure consistent execution of sales processes, communication, and follow-upCoach and develop team members to improve performance and drive resultsLeadership ExpectationsOperate as a strategic business leader with full ownership of revenue growth in ConnecticutBuild strong, trusted partnerships with executive leaders across the organizationUse data, reporting, and dashboards to drive performance and accountabilityIdentify both short-term wins and long-term strategic opportunitiesSet a high standard for execution, communication, and collaborationBe visible, decisive, and action-oriented in leading the business8+ years of sales experience, including senior-level ownership of revenue targetsProven track record of driving significant revenue growth and consistently exceeding goalsExperience leading and developing high-performing sales teams in multi-product or multi-revenue environmentsStrong expertise in sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance metricsDemonstrated ability to build and execute integrated, cross-functional sales strategiesExperience with partnerships, sponsorships, and high-value deal negotiation preferredHighly data-driven, with experience using CRM systems and sales analytics to inform decisionsStrong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across leadership teamsBenefitsComplimentary Chelsea Piers Connecticut MembershipProgramming discounts for you and your familyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) contribution and matchingFSA Account, and other voluntary benefits optionsPaid vacation and sick timeThis position is based at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CTChelsea Piers is an Equal Opportunity Employer
