About the Role

The Associate Relationship Manager will be based in Boston or New York and will partner with Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to deliver exceptional client servicing and relationship management across the U.S. wealth channel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal and external point of contact for clients.
  • Meet clients’ servicing needs and deepen relationships through proactive, multi‑touch engagement.
  • Uncover and onboard new client accounts in collaboration with subject‑matter experts firmwide.
  • Contribute to defense work to retain “at risk” mandates.
  • Oversee analyst activity and assist in internal initiatives as needed.
  • Facilitate client meetings such as portfolio reviews and due‑diligence sessions.
  • Act as a proxy to the Relationship Manager in client relationships when required.

Essential Skills

  • 6‑10 years of experience within the investment industry and a deep understanding of the U.S. wealth investment landscape.
  • Strategic thinker passionate about building and nurturing client relationships and delivering exceptional service to institutional and wealth investors.
  • Superior collaboration and teamwork across Wellington.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships with clients, industry contacts, and internal colleagues.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range : USD 90,000 – 180,000. Salary is one component of the total compensation approach, with potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.
