Position Summary

Lead the development and execution of International Programs' digital marketing, communications, and storytelling initiatives to support international student recruitment, education abroad programs, global partnerships, and scholarly exchanges. Develop strategic, culturally responsive content that elevates UNO's global profile across digital platforms, social media, and multimedia channels. Collaborate with University MarComm, academic units, global partners, and community stakeholders to create compelling narratives that demonstrate UNO’s commitment to global engagement and foster a sense of belonging for diverse international constituencies.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, International Studies, or a related field.

Required Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Experience must include demonstrated success with marketing automation platforms, social media advertising, web analytics, and multimedia content production.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Preferred Education

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, International Education, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in digital marketing with specific focus on international education, higher education recruitment, or global audience engagement.
  • Experience working in international contexts or with multilingual content development.
  • Experience managing comprehensive digital marketing budgets and vendor relationships.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

  • Google Analytics Certification, HubSpot Marketing Certification, Social Media Marketing Certifications, Digital Marketing Certifications.
