Role : Brightree Director (Implementation Specialist)
Location: Southern California (Los Angeles area) preferred. Open to PST, MST, or CST candidates willing to travel to HQ two weeks per month.
Compensation: $120K-$195K/yr DOE
Type: Full-time, direct hire (long-term role beyond implementation).
Our client is hiring an Implementation Specialist/Director to lead a large-scale Brightree implementation in a live healthcare/DME environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with deep, real-world Brightree experience and a proven track record of leading multiple full‑cycle implementations. This role is mission‑critical as the organization enters advanced testing for a major migration initiative.
This individual will serve as a strategic partner across operations, technology, billing, intake, and executive leadership, helping optimize workflows, drive scalable growth, and improve operational performance across the organization.
This is not a traditional IT or Brightree administrator role. The ideal candidate is a business and operational leader who understands how technology, reimbursement, compliance, and operational execution intersect within the HME/DME space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Brightree implementation, testing, and go‑live phases
- Lead Brightree optimization initiatives across enterprise or multi‑location HME/DME operations
- Act as internal SME for Brightree workflows, configuration, and optimization
- Oversee detailed data mapping (patient records, payer tables, product tables)
- Ensure accurate field‑to‑field alignment and mapping logic
- Evaluate and improve operational workflows, system utilization, and cross‑functional processes
- Partner with executive leadership to align operational systems with scalable growth strategies
- Oversee workflow design and optimization across: Intake & qualification, Documentation & Compliance, Billing & Collections, Inventory & Fulfillment, Referral Management, Reporting & KPI Development
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, billing, intake, clinical, IT, vendors, and implementation partners
Qualifications
- Extensive hands‑on Brightree experience including: configuration & admin, workflow optimization, integrations & web services/API functionality, enterprise or multi‑location environments
- Proven experience leading operational or systems initiatives
- Strong understanding of reimbursement workflows, operational execution, and compliance requirements within DME/HME
- Strong expertise in payer logic, patient record configuration, and data mapping
- Background in healthcare, DME, or related industry
- Ability to travel to Los Angeles HQ two weeks per month if not local
