This role will lead all marketing activities—while also be a key driver to build campaigns, content, and programs directly. The ideal candidate is a business-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment and will be able to combine creativity, data-driven thinking, and executional excellence across all our operational verticals.**Duties and Responsibilities***Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth** Build and execute integrated marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads for the sales team.* Own digital marketing strategy (SEO, email, social, website optimization).* Develop and manage lead nurturing programs to improve conversion.* Track funnel performance and adjust tactics for optimal ROI.*Product & Content Marketing** Create clear, compelling messaging and value propositions for our retail inventory solutions from Barcode to RFID.* Develop sales enablement materials: product sheets, case studies, pitch decks, competitive comparisons, videos, and training materials.* Plan and execute product launches in partnership with Sales and Product teams.* Translate customer needs and market insights into positioning and content.*Brand & Communications** Strengthen the company’s brand presence across digital channels, events, PR, and industry communities.* Ensure unified and consistent messaging across all business verticals.* Manage website content, blog strategy, thought leadership, and social media presence.*Analytics & Marketing Operations** Build dashboards and KPIs to measure campaign and outreach performance.* Manage the marketing tech stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools).* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to guide strategic decisions.*Events & Retail Industry Engagement** Plan and execute trade shows, retail conferences, webinars, and in-person customer events.* Drive pre-event and post-event marketing to maximize ROI.* Build relationships with industry thought leaders, associations, and partners.*Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration** Collaborate with Sales and Customer success to ensure strong lead quality, messaging alignment, and effective handoff processes.* Partner with Product teams to gather insights, shape messaging, and support product roadmap communication.* Manage external agencies, contractors, and creative partners.**Core Competencies*** Hands-On Execution: Willing and able to build campaigns, write content, and manage tools directly.* Strategic Thinking: Can see the big picture and set a strong marketing roadmap.* Data-Driven Decision Making: Uses analytics to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.* Storytelling: Able to turn product features into clear, compelling value narratives.* Collaboration: Works effectively with Sales, Product, and the Executive Team.* Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment.## Qualifications*Experience/Qualifications/Requirements** Education – bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.* Years of experience - 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, retail tech, or enterprise software.* Proven success building demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline growth.* Strong storytelling, writing, and content creation skills.* Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Microsoft CRM, Marketo).* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with limited layers.* Experience working with Sales teams on enablement, pipeline strategy, and GTM plans.*Success Metrics (First 12 Months)** Increased volume of qualified leads and marketing-sourced pipeline.* Clear, differentiated messaging and updated collateral for the retail software solutions.* Brand messaging consolidation across our three vertical solution groups.* Successful product launch(es) with Sales adoption and measurable impact.* Redesigned website content focused on the evolving retail inventory story.* Consistent production of high-quality content that supports sales and brand visibility.*Work Ownership & Representation*Employees are hired based on their individual qualifications, including education, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities of the role. As such, the duties and responsibilities assigned to the employee must be performed by the employee themselves. Under no circumstances may work be subcontracted, delegated, or otherwise assigned to a third party without prior written authorization from the company.*Full Time/Part Time*Full time (40 hours per week).*Exempt/Non-Exempt*Exempt (i.e. salaried)*Work Location and Hours** Hybrid – this role will be required to support meetings and other activities onsite approximately 40% of the time with remaining 60% remote. Must be local in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.* For all remote and hybrid positions - employees may be required to attend in-person meetings, training, or other business-related activities at designated company locations from time to time. Advance notice will be provided for any required onsite presence. All employees are expected to comply with these in-person requirements as part of their role.*Physical Requirements*Work will be done primarily seated. Ability to walk around and move items as required when in the office – setting up meeting rooms, meals, and such.
