Community Relations Director

The Community Relations Director (CRD) leads the sales and marketing initiatives. The goal is to increase and maintain occupancy. The CRD supports the financial success of the community, represents the company's culture and values, develops strategic marketing plans, and demonstrates customer service. The CRD builds relationships with future residents, families, team members, vendors, and the broader community.

What You’ll Do

  • Overall responsibility for the sales and marketing process, working collaboratively with members of the leadership team.
  • Make sales calls, schedule educational presentations, and coordinate marketing events.
  • Outreach to nursing homes, physician offices, and other health care professionals.
  • Guide, train and support team members to serve as a backup in taking inquiry calls, giving tours, and providing customer service.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Prepare reports and develop strategic marketing plans.
  • Model the Compass Senior Living values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun as a representative of the community.

  • Ability to work independently, be self‑motivated, and be goal‑directed.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal communication and ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.
  • Meet all health requirements as specified by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license.
