Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Team: Directly manage Business Development Representatives, Technical Marketing Manager and the Marketing Communications Manager, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Integrated Campaigns: Translate marketing tactics into integrated programs, engaging and cultivating customers throughout their buying journey for a consistent experience across channels.
- Marketing Communications Strategy: Create and deploy impactful content and campaigns focused on the company value offers, ensuring brand and messaging alignment across solutions and relevant topics.
- Business Development: Be responsible for opportunity funnel creation for key markets, develop plans to increase brand competitiveness, and drive demand generation activities.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with US Product Marketing and Sales to align marketing activities with business goals.
- Performance Optimization: Track program success, drive continuous improvements, and assemble end-to-end traceability of the funnel using digital metrics and benchmarks.
- Content Leadership: Advise, lead, and implement marketing communications and campaigns across public relations, business development, tradeshows, digital channels, and the Marketing Technology stack. Leverage new technologies such as AI for personalized content creation.
- Strategic Planning: Design and complete multi-year customer engagement strategy and programs, optimizing demand creation approaches across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead the Promotional Review Committee, collaborating with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing leaders to influence positive outcomes and process improvements.
- Showroom management: Develop and implement a showroom strategy that aligns with marketing and sales objectives, ensuring the space showcases the full Pharmacy Automation value proposition across all customer segments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required, Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in pharmacy, medical device or capital goods industry, including global and regional roles required.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience required.
- Consistent record of high performance and results in marketing communications and business development.
- Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo), and analytics tools (PowerBI) required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in digital marketing, tradeshow strategy, and planning.
- Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic tradeshows, customer events, team meetings).
- Position based in Durham, NC, with hybrid work arrangement.
