Role 1: Senior UiPath Platform Engineer – Automation & Cloud Reliability
Role Focus
Primary owner of enterprise automation platforms, infrastructure reliability, CI/CD, and operational excellence . This role ensures UiPath, automation services, and supporting infrastructure are secure, stable, scalable, and compliant .
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Platform Engineering (Primary)
- Lead installation, configuration, administration, and optimization of UiPath Automation Cloud and hybrid/on‑prem environments.
- Own Orchestrator, Maestro, Test Suite, Automation Hub, Insights, Agentic AI integrations, and related components.
- Lead platform readiness assessments, capacity planning, and onboarding of new automation workloads.
- Drive platform upgrades, migrations (on‑prem → cloud), patching cycles, and performance tuning.
- Act as Tier‑3 platform support, leading root‑cause analysis and permanent remediation for production incidents.
- Cloud, Infrastructure & Reliability Engineering (Primary)
- Own server and environment provisioning, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Design cloud‑ready and hybrid infrastructure supporting automation and AI workloads.
- Implement scalability strategies, high availability, DR, and SLA‑backed monitoring.
- Deploy and operate containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes where applicable).
- Build observability dashboards (Grafana/Splunk/ELK) for uptime, performance, and capacity metrics.
- DevOps, CI/CD & SDLC Enablement (Primary)
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Harness.
- Automate packaging and deployment of UiPath processes, platform services, and internal tools.
- Enforce SDLC standards: branching strategies, automated testing, artifact management, and release governance.
- Integrate pipelines with IAM, secrets management, compliance, and security scanning.
- Security, Governance & Compliance (Primary)
- Enforce platform hardening, encryption standards, and least‑privilege access.
- Remediate vulnerabilities (e.g., PRISMA findings) within SLA.
- Ensure audit readiness, logging, identity protection, and operational risk compliance.
- Overlap & Collaboration (Secondary)
- Review GenAI/AI platform designs for scalability, security, and operability.
- Provide backup support for internal utilities, APIs, and reporting services.
- Mentor engineers on platform reliability, DevOps, and automation best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Deep hands‑on experience with UiPath Automation Cloud / Orchestrator.
- Strong background in cloud platforms, server management, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker, monitoring, and enterprise security controls.
- Working knowledge of C#/.NET, Python, and SQL (supporting and reviewing).
- Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
Role 2: Senior UiPath Platform Engineer – Application & Automation Enablement
Role Focus
Primary owner of In‑house utility development, AI/ML integration, and developer productivity . This role accelerates business value by building intelligent capabilities on top of stable platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- In‑House Utility & Backend Development (Primary)
- Design, build, and maintain internal utilities, APIs, and backend services using:
- C#/.NET / .NET Core
- Python (API integration, data transformation, ML utilities)
- Kafka
- Develop reusable components, automation accelerators, and shared frameworks.
- Build backend services supporting dashboards, command centers, monitoring, and reporting tools.
- Conduct design and code reviews; enforce clean coding and engineering standards.
- GenAI, LLM & AI Platform Engineering (Primary)
- Design and implement GenAI‑driven workflows and decision pipelines.
- Integrate LLM capabilities including prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, grounding, and model orchestration.
- Build and deploy AI Center pipelines, custom ML models, and AI‑assisted automations.
- Evaluate and onboard new AI tools, frameworks, and COTS AI products for enterprise use.
- Partner with data science, architecture, and security teams to ensure compliant AI deployments.
- Data, Reporting & SQL Engineering (Primary)
- Design dashboards for automation performance, AI usage, operational insights, and ROI.
- Build and maintain reporting pipelines using SQL, Python, ETL, and UiPath Insights.
- Serve as SQL SME: schema reviews, query optimization, and data accuracy validation.
- Deliver automated reports for leadership, audit, and operational teams.
- DevOps & Platform Alignment (Secondary)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for AI models, utilities, and services.
- Ensure applications align with platform standards for deployment, monitoring, and security.
- Collaborate with the Automation & Cloud Reliability Engineer on release and rollout planning.
- Collaboration, Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
- Work in Agile teams delivering prioritized automation and AI capabilities.
- Mentor engineers on GenAI, automation frameworks, and backend development.
- Lead technical workshops, demos, and documentation for reusable assets.
Required Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with GenAI / LLM integrations (RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering).
- Strong development skills in C#/.NET, Python, REST APIs, and backend services.
- Advanced SQL and analytics experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and secure SDLC practices.
- Working knowledge of UiPath ecosystem and automation platforms.
