Marketing Director – Demand Generation (Financial Services Industry)

Location: Manhattan, NY (Onsite 3 days/week)

Salary: $190,000–$225,000

Only candidates with the following skills will be considered for this role

  • Must have Financial Services demand generation experience.
  • Hands‑on campaign execution.
  • Multi‑channel marketing (email, paid media, SEO/SEM), marketing automation (Marketo/HubSpot).
  • Pipeline development ownership.
  • Data‑driven optimization.

Responsibilities

Demand Generation Strategy & Execution

  • Build and execute integrated, multi‑channel demand generation programs across digital platforms.
  • Design scalable campaigns that drive qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact.
  • Partner with content and brand teams to convert thought leadership into demand.
  • Own full campaign lifecycle from planning through execution and optimization.

Pipeline Development & Marketing Contribution

  • Align marketing programs with business growth priorities and revenue targets.
  • Develop lead generation and nurturing strategies that accelerate pipeline development.
  • Define and optimize lead quality, scoring, and handoff processes.
  • Ensure strong alignment between marketing and sales to improve conversion rates.
  • Drive accountability for lead follow‑up and pipeline progression.

Analytics & Performance

  • Own campaign performance tracking, reporting, and ROI measurement.
  • Build dashboards to monitor engagement, pipeline contribution, and conversion metrics.
  • Continuously test, iterate, and optimize campaigns using data‑driven insights.
  • Partner with marketing operations to ensure clean, reliable data and reporting consistency.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of marketing experience, with 5+ years owning demand generation programs end‑to‑end.
  • Strong background in financial services (wealth management, asset management, or alternatives preferred).
  • Proven success building demand generation engines targeting high‑net‑worth or institutional audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience executing across digital channels and marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of funnel metrics, attribution, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience in fast‑paced, lean environments where ownership and execution are critical.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Builder/operator mindset with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
