The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing to lead strategic positioning, go-to-market execution, and category storytelling across multiple regulated industry verticals.

This executive will be responsible for crafting compelling product narratives, driving integrated launch strategies, and clearly communicating platform value to enterprise buyers and partners. The role blends strategic leadership with operational execution and requires close collaboration across Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Brand, Customer Success, Legal, and Compliance functions.

The organization operates with an AI-first mindset, and this leader will help scale messaging, content operations, and customer-facing enablement through modern tooling, workflow automation, and AI-assisted marketing systems.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in defining market perception, building trust with sophisticated buyers, and articulating measurable business impact in a rapidly evolving advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Product Positioning & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Lead product marketing strategy and category positioning across regulated verticals
  • Develop differentiated messaging, value propositions, and competitive narratives
  • Drive end-to-end go-to-market initiatives including launches, pricing strategy, packaging, enablement, and integrated campaigns
  • Build repeatable industry-specific GTM playbooks and scalable sales support assets
  • Partner closely with Product and Revenue teams to align roadmap communication with market demand
  • Design and scale enablement frameworks that improve sales effectiveness
  • Create discovery tools, battlecards, objection-handling materials, and training programs
  • Support pipeline acceleration and win-rate improvement through strong market intelligence and customer insights
  • Develop ROI and value-based storytelling frameworks tailored to enterprise buyers

AI-Enabled Marketing Operations & Digital Experience

  • Implement AI-assisted workflows and modern marketing technologies to improve content scalability and operational efficiency
  • Oversee digital marketing properties including website strategy, landing pages, customer-facing tools, and brand systems
  • Manage external agencies, consultants, and production partners
  • Establish scalable processes for high-quality, brand-consistent content production

Industry Presence & Ecosystem Partnerships

  • Lead event and conference strategy across relevant industry verticals
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives and strengthen market presence within the advertising and data ecosystem
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to create joint messaging and integrated go-to-market initiatives
  • Translate technical capabilities and integrations into compelling customer-facing value stories

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Brand, Legal, Compliance, and Demand Generation teams
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product marketing organization
  • Establish KPIs tied to revenue influence, adoption, enablement effectiveness, campaign impact, and operational efficiency
  • Influence product roadmap direction through customer and market feedback

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, including significant experience in product marketing leadership roles
  • Strong track record leading go-to-market strategy and product launches within AdTech, MarTech, SaaS, or data-driven technology environments
  • Experience marketing to regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, political advertising, or similar compliance-heavy sectors
  • Deep understanding of advertising technology ecosystems, including identity, measurement, data collaboration, and audience targeting
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a commercially compelling way
  • Experience leading and scaling cross-functional teams in high-growth environments
  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to business and revenue outcomes

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve marketing workflows and content operations
  • Ownership of enterprise-scale digital marketing ecosystems and brand platforms
  • Experience managing external vendors, agencies, and multi-channel event programs
  • Familiarity with agile, pod-based, or capability-based organizational structures
