The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is seeking an Integrated Marketing Manager – Campaigns & Messaging to support the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive member engagement, advance association priorities, and reinforce AEM’s brand in the marketplace.

This role sits within AEM’s Communications & Marketing team and reports to the Association MarketingDirector. The Integrated Marketing Manager – Campaigns & Messaging plays a key role in translating strategic priorities into actionable marketing plans, executing campaigns across multiple channels, and partnering closely with internal teams to promote AEM programs, services, and events that deliver value to members.

This position balances day‑to‑day campaign execution with opportunities to contribute to broader marketing planning, performance analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and project manage integrated marketing plans in support of AEM service areas, programs, and events.
  • Execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns, including email, website, digital, and promotional tactics, to build awareness of member benefits and drive engagement and registrations.
  • Partner closely with internal teams such as services, sectors, communications, digital, and MEST to promote member value, programs, and initiatives.
  • Develop and refine marketing messaging, including website content, email communications, campaign copy, and promotional materials.
  • Support brand management by ensuring consistent application of AEM brand guidelines across campaigns, materials, and touchpoints.
  • Manage internal workflows and external vendor relationships, including designers, printers, merchandising partners, and booth vendors.
  • Track and manage marketing plan budgets, review invoices for accuracy, and support annual budget planning processes.
  • Analyze campaign performance and marketing data to identify insights, optimize tactics, and report results to internal stakeholders.
  • Support AEM booth planning and execution at select trade shows in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Oversee merchandising initiatives and manage AEM store activities in coordination with marketing leadership.
  • Support member research and voice‑of‑customer efforts, including surveys and focus groups, to inform marketing strategies.

Requirements

A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or an associate degree with equivalent relevant experience), along with 5+ years of progressive business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience professional environment—preferably within associations, nonprofits, or other member‑driven organizations.

  • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, website, digital, and event promotion.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
  • Strong writer with experience developing clear, compelling marketing messaging and copy, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfort using data, analytics, and reporting to evaluate campaign performance and inform continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing creative deliverables, budgets, and invoices.
  • Working knowledge of common marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing systems, CRM or database systems, content management platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
