Strategic Programs Lead, Strategic Customer & Partner Marketing

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Programs Leader to serve as a trusted partner to the VP of Strategic Customer and Partner Marketing. The role combines strategic program leadership, executive-level stakeholder management, and organizational influence to ensure the VP’s highest priorities are executed with precision and impact. You will translate executive vision into actionable strategies, manage complex cross‑functional initiatives, and ensure alignment across customer marketing, partner marketing, executive marketing, ABM, and broader AWS stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Support & Planning: Partner with the executive leader to define, communicate, and execute organizational priorities and long‑term strategy. Prepare and manage executive briefings and strategic presentations for internal and external engagements. Track progress against key business goals and surface risks or opportunities to leadership.
- Operations & Execution: Oversee day‑to‑day business operations and ensure efficient execution of cross‑functional initiatives. Identify operational gaps and implement scalable processes and frameworks to improve team effectiveness. Manage the executive’s time and priorities, including agenda‑setting for leadership meetings and offsites.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between the executive and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Lead or support high‑priority, cross‑functional projects from inception to completion. Facilitate decision‑making by synthesizing complex information and presenting clear recommendations.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Draft internal communications, memos, and announcements on behalf of the executive. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Represent the executive in meetings and working groups as needed.
- Team & Culture: Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support talent development, team engagement, and organizational health initiatives. Onboard and integrate new team members into the organization.
Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working cross‑functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging.
- Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis, and a demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align with business and service objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is 142,000.00 – 192,000.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
