Position Overview
We’re looking for a National Account Director who arrives with credibility, a strong network, and the ability to immediately impact revenue. You understand the expectations of incentive planners, executive decision‑makers, and luxury intermediaries – and you know how to translate that into business. In this role, you will position our resorts as best‑in‑class destinations for corporate incentive travel, executive retreats, and high‑touch luxury group experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow the incentive & luxury group segment.
- Proactively generate and close corporate incentives, executive retreats, and luxury group business.
- Leverage existing relationships to deliver immediate revenue impact.
- Identify and secure high‑value opportunities aligned with each hotel’s premium positioning.
- Activate your network: utilize established connections with incentive houses, corporate planners, and luxury advisors.
- Maintain a strong presence in the incentive and luxury travel community.
- Represent the Prince Resorts Hawaii brand at key industry events, trade shows, and client engagements.
- Deliver high‑touch sales experiences: craft compelling, tailored proposals; lead immersive site inspections; anticipate client expectations, and curate experiences that exceed them.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, contracting, and closing.
- Structure creative, value‑driven deals while protecting rate integrity.
- Ensure a seamless transition from sales to operations for flawless program execution.
- Make and exceed quarterly and yearly goals for the luxury corporate market.
- Partner cross‑functionally to align on luxury service delivery and program customization.
- Support team initiatives, provide leadership within the sales organization; step in to support broader sales leadership efforts when needed.
- Actively participate in industry and community initiatives.
- Represent Prince Resorts Hawaii in a professional, respectful manner.
- Attend REVMAX and resort management meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum of 5 years of sales experience).
- Four‑year college degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sales applications: CI‑TY, Delphi Opera, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Proven sales process experience: initiating contact, qualifying, following up, negotiating, contracting, and service delivery.
- Experience developing and leading site inspection strategy.
- Strong relationships with new and existing group accounts to achieve segment objectives.
- Organizational skills to support the sales process; partner with industry organizations.
- Ability to meet and/or exceed booking goals.
- Administrative skills: contracts, proposals, solicitation letters, etc.
- Availability to travel to Mainland US and Hawaii as needed.
- Capability to attend and lead sales‑related meetings; prepare reports and presentations.
- Understanding of and support for overall hotel goals and objectives.
- Teamwork: support other sales members and department initiatives.
- Assistance to Area Director of Sales, Group with SOP creation and maintenance.
Compensation
Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 annually.
