Business Analyst (FINTECH Company in GURGAON)

Responsibilities

  • The business analyst is responsible for overseeing business process analysis and executing the collection, elicitation, and recording of business requirements for strategic project development.
  • Strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights and recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience handling large data sets (structured or unstructured) and converting business problems into optimal data strategies.
  • Develop and implement analytical projects that drive business goals and decisions, such as improving order value, increasing conversions, and other key performance indicators.
  • Define and track metrics to evaluate business health.
  • Mentor and plan the work of business analysts.
  • Build automated alerting systems for proactive and pre‑emptive actions.
  • Provide solutions in areas including Customer Segmentation & Targeting, Propensity Modelling, Churn Modelling, Lifetime Value Estimation, Forecasting, Recommender Systems, Modelling Response to Incentives, Marketing Mix Optimization, and Price Optimization.

Must Have

  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from premier institutes preferred.
  • Proficiency in R, SAS, QlikView, Google Analytics, MixPanel (GOOD TO HAVE).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with RDBMS and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights and recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing new product/service‑oriented strategies and communicating them to the technical team for implementation.
  • Identify and solve weaknesses within and outside the organization.
  • Develop, document, and maintain complex business models; interact with all departments and participate in business meetings.
  • Explore new opportunities to increase client/customer satisfaction.
  • Develop solutions for complex business problems within the organization.
  • Conduct training programs internally and for clients to implement new business models.
