Responsibilities
- The business analyst is responsible for overseeing business process analysis and executing the collection, elicitation, and recording of business requirements for strategic project development.
- Strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights and recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience handling large data sets (structured or unstructured) and converting business problems into optimal data strategies.
- Develop and implement analytical projects that drive business goals and decisions, such as improving order value, increasing conversions, and other key performance indicators.
- Define and track metrics to evaluate business health.
- Mentor and plan the work of business analysts.
- Build automated alerting systems for proactive and pre‑emptive actions.
- Provide solutions in areas including Customer Segmentation & Targeting, Propensity Modelling, Churn Modelling, Lifetime Value Estimation, Forecasting, Recommender Systems, Modelling Response to Incentives, Marketing Mix Optimization, and Price Optimization.
Must Have
- Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from premier institutes preferred.
- Proficiency in R, SAS, QlikView, Google Analytics, MixPanel (GOOD TO HAVE).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with RDBMS and Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong storytelling and articulation skills to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights and recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Additional Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing new product/service‑oriented strategies and communicating them to the technical team for implementation.
- Identify and solve weaknesses within and outside the organization.
- Develop, document, and maintain complex business models; interact with all departments and participate in business meetings.
- Explore new opportunities to increase client/customer satisfaction.
- Develop solutions for complex business problems within the organization.
- Conduct training programs internally and for clients to implement new business models.
