Position Summary

The Multimedia Specialist is UHP's primary digital content creator, organizational videographer, photographer, and graphic designer. This role, working closely with senior Communications team members, is responsible for producing and managing content across all UHP digital platforms.
Key Duties

Design creatives for digital and traditional media campaigns and opportunities as assigned, including blogs, announcements, infographics, etc.
Produce and edit short‑form video content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories) and long‑form productions (patient stories, associate spotlights, health education series, event recaps).
Curate social media content and posts as required and assigned across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Manage and maintain UHP's YouTube and Viva Urban YouTube channels, ensuring consistent branding, visual design, and content presentation across both platforms in alignment with organizational guidelines.
Serve as UHP’s primary organizational photographer, capturing events, clinical initiatives, community programs, associate milestones, and leadership moments across all UHP sites; execute photo shoots, including scheduling, setup, and subject direction.
Edit, organize, and maintain UHP’s digital photo archive, ensuring images are properly catalogued and accessible to the communications team.
Manage all aspects of video production: concept development, scheduling, shooting, editing, captioning, and platform‑specific delivery.
Respond to all UHP associate requests for project support; for video and digital production projects, schedule production meetings and develop a project proposal, including concept, goals, and timeline, for review and approval by Communications department leadership.
Manage UHP‑branded creative projects for print and digital channels as assigned, including ads, fliers, brochures, invitations, email headers, and social graphics.
Create and maintain content for UHP's internal digital signage; monitor all screens monthly, remove outdated information, and update content in alignment with the editorial calendar, current social media and health education campaigns, and ad hoc requests.
Stay current with digital media technologies and emerging trends; recommend strategies and methods to strengthen UHP's presence across all platforms.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Digital Media background.
Minimum 2–3 years of proven expertise with Graphic Design, Multimedia Content Creation, and Communications.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Demonstrated experience using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting Compensation: Minimum $67,000 per annum; Maximum $80,000 per annum.
Work Location: Primarily stationed in the Bronx, NY; duties include remote work and occasional onsite duties in NYC-based locations monthly.
Schedule: Monday–Friday 9‑5 / 35 hours per week.
