H/L is looking for a

Senior Influencer Marketing Specialist.

In this role, you will be the primary architect and executor of our influencer marketing campaigns. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for a “strategic doer” who can translate client goals into high-performing creator partnerships. You will own the entire campaign lifecycle—from data-driven discovery to final performance reporting—ensuring every activation is on-brand, legal, and measurable.

This is a hybrid role, with both office-based work at the H/L Oakland, CA office and remote work. While preference may be given to candidates in the Oakland area, we are also open to remote candidates located in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Discovery & Execution

End-to-End Campaign Management:

Design and execute influencer strategies across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You are responsible for the “heavy lifting” of creator outreach, vetting, and relationship management.

Data-Driven Vetting:

Utilize

CreatorIQ

and

Infegy

to identify creators who align with client demographics, ensuring high-quality audiences and brand safety.

Negotiation & Contracting:

Lead talent negotiations and develop legal contracts, managing usage rights, exclusivity, and deliverables to protect agency and client interests.

Content Excellence:

Develop creative briefs and guidelines that ensure creator content meets client standards and FTC disclosure requirements while maintaining the influencer’s authentic voice.

Measurement & Social Integration

Advanced Analytics:

Use

Infegy

for audience sentiment analysis and

Sprout Social

to monitor broader social conversation and engagement trends surrounding campaigns.

Performance Reporting:

Establish KPIs for every campaign. Build comprehensive post-campaign reports that detail ROI, Earned Media Value (EMV), and actionable insights for the Senior Manager and clients.

Cross-Channel Alignment:

Work with Planning, Account, and Data teams to ensure influencer content includes trackable links, custom codes, and “search-friendly” captions to drive conversion.

Client & Process Ownership

Subject Matter Expert:

Serve as the lead technical voice in client meetings, confidently presenting creator recommendations and explaining performance data.

Tool Management:

Act as the power‑user for the agency’s tech stack ( CreatorIQ, Infegy, Sprout Social ), ensuring all data is organized and the creator database is constantly updated.

Budget Accountability:

Manage campaign budgets with precision, tracking spend against project profitability targets and ensuring timely creator payments.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience

in influencer marketing or talent management, ideally within an agency environment.

Proven Individual Contributor:

Extensive experience managing high-volume campaigns (20+ creators simultaneously) from start to finish without requiring daily supervision.

Tech Proficiency:

Advanced hands‑on experience with

CreatorIQ

(discovery/CRM),

Infegy

(social listening/consumer insights), and

Sprout Social

(scheduling/analytics).

Strong Negotiation Skills:

Deep understanding of influencer market rates, usage rights, and contract redlining.

Communication:

Exceptional presentation skills; able to distill complex social data into clear “wins” for clients.

Detail‑Oriented:

A “zero‑mistake” approach to FTC compliance and brand safety guidelines.

For SF Bay Area / California‑based candidates:

H/L provides projected compensation ranges for each position as an estimate of the company’s reasonable pay range for the role. The salary range for this position is expected to be between $78,000 and $87,000 annually. Actual compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience and qualifications, budget considerations, internal pay equity, geographic location, and market compensation data for similar positions. Compensation for candidates outside of California is determined based on the same factors and varies by geographic area.
