What You’ll Lead
- Full oversight of hotel sales operations across transient rooms, corporate accounts, group business, and social events
- Development of new business relationships throughout the local and regional market, including businesses, universities, tourism partners, farms, artisans, event planners, and community organizations
- Daily leadership of account solicitation, client relationship management, and revenue‑driving sales activity
- Ownership of group pace, account production, forecasting, reporting, and overall sales performance
- Collaboration with operations and revenue management on occupancy strategy, guest experience, and event execution
- Representation of the hotel within the local community and regional hospitality market
What You Bring
- Experience as a Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager within a hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment
- Proven ability to cultivate new business and maintain long‑term client relationships
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue strategy, group sales, corporate solicitation, and local market development
- Professional, polished communication skills with strong organizational ability
- Ability to operate successfully in a fast‑moving tourism and lifestyle‑driven market
- Marriott experience is a plus
Requirements
- Experience with Delphi
- Strong background in hotel CRM management, account tracking, and sales reporting
- Ability to develop and manage negotiated corporate accounts and group business pipelines
- Experience preparing sales forecasts, pace reports, and monthly production reporting
- Comfortable conducting outside sales calls, client presentations, networking events, and community outreach
- Knowledge of Marriott systems and brand sales processes preferred
- Ability to work closely with revenue management to maximize occupancy and rate strategy
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
