Overview

Director UZEDY Marketing - HCP Promotion is responsible for creating and driving marketing strategy in the US, focusing on health care provider (HCP) promotion, HCP market research, HCP messaging, brand planning, hospital promotions and operations. The role collaborates and supports field sales, sales operations, and training.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand strategy development, tactical planning and execution of HCP marketing initiatives in alignment with the overarching Schizophrenia portfolio strategy.
  • Lead and develop a team of HCP marketers and medical education professionals.
  • Lead the optimization / re‑launch of new indication.
  • Own financial management for the brand, including forecasting, budget management, agency spend management, and measurement of results.
  • Create core HCP messaging and creative in partnership with agency of record and media agencies, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Deliver impactful hospital promotion and operations programs, including HIFT/samples.
  • Lead HCP promotion, market research, messaging, and targeting strategy.
  • Ensure effective, targeted HCP media plans via routine monitoring and analysis of return on spend.
  • Manage promotional efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in HCP & customer experience marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, Training and Market Access to ensure strategic alignment and solid direction.
  • Lead and participate in sales and marketing planning meetings.
  • Proactively identify obstacles to brand growth and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Manage budgets and timelines to achieve defined targets.
  • Partner with Customer Insight group to refine market research plans and establish standardized, aligned performance metrics and ROI analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, including launch leadership, strong experience in psychiatry and mental health disorders (preferably schizophrenia), people‑management in marketing, and HCP marketing budget management. Experience translating customer insights into impactful business strategies and plans preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Proven business acumen demonstrated through analysis, problem‑solving, and success metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external agencies and vendors.

Additional Information

Approximately 35% domestic travel required.
