Account Executive, SMB

Job Summary

Responsible for the sale of integrated communication structure to small-to-medium business customers.
Core Responsibilities

Assist with the creation and delivery of face‑to‑face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of current Comcast products and services.
Promote bundled products to provide optimal solutions for customers.
Sell to exceed departmental, financial and unit targets.
Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services.
Generate new leads with targeted businesses through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships.
Develop sales territory, including cultivating local business partnerships and organizational affiliations.
Retain the customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo and ensuring a superior customer experience.
Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention and work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies.
Prepare sales and activity reports as required.
Participate in out‑of‑the‑office meetings with customers and demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills in presenting, persuading and negotiating.
Ensure punctual attendance and regular availability, including nights, weekends, variable schedule and overtime when necessary.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; applicants with a combination of coursework and relevant professional experience may be considered.
0–2 years of relevant work experience in sales.
Certifications (if applicable).
Demonstrated skills in adaptability, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, customer focus, persuasion, professional integrity, resilience, technical knowledge and workplace organization.

Compensation

Base Pay: $47,000.00. Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $47,014.42.
