Adjunct, Media Studies (Part‑time)
Position Summary

Saint Joseph’s University Department of Communication and Media Studies is hiring an adjunct professor to teach one to two courses per semester at the Hawk Hill campus in Philadelphia.
Responsibilities

Teach one to two courses per semester in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Prepare course materials and provide support and guidance to students.
Hold regular office hours.
Report mid‑semester and final grades electronically.
Participate in occasional meetings with the Department Chair and other faculty about pedagogical issues.
Co‑operate with course coordinators and program faculty to ensure quality and consistency across the program.
Qualifications

Required: A Master’s Degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related field.
Preferred: MFA with an emphasis on documentary film; prior teaching experience; flexibility in class scheduling; access to up‑to‑date technology.
