About the Role
Buyer, Integrated Investment – full‑time temporary role (benefits eligible) until August.
Responsibilities
Oversee tactical planning, execution, and reporting of media campaigns.
Brainstorm and ideate new activations and vendor opportunities across digital and traditional media channels.
Maintain a base‑level knowledge of buying for online and offline media: Digital (Banners, Audio, Video, Search, Social), TV, Radio, OOH & Print.
Own vendor communications and develop relationships with clients.
Manage the RFP process – develop partner consideration sets, write RFPs, and coordinate conversations with partners.
Collaborate on media buying, vendor contracts, budget management for individual platforms, and billing/invoicing.
Lead use of media buying tools such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, Datorama, Tableau, and others.
Apply negotiation principles to secure discounts and added value.
Act as the first gatekeeper and reviewer for assistant traders’ work.
Ensure smooth campaign launch & execution and communicate updates internally and externally.
Deeply understand the digital media trafficking process.
Perform weekly pacing and monitoring of campaign performance.
Fully comprehend media strategy and tactical details.
Support the supervisor or director in developing media approaches.
Encourage media‑creative integration through cross‑agency presentations and timelines.
Validate accuracy of data used for reporting.
Develop media points of view for clients.
Encourage outside‑the‑box thinking.
Stay up to date with marketplace offerings and new opportunities.
Participate in training to enhance professional growth.
Mentor assistant buyers and provide ongoing feedback and reviews.
Display high personal dedication and motivation.
Contribute positively to company culture.
Troubleshoot team issues and concerns.
Build esprit de corps through strong team communication.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in media investment/buying across online and/or offline channels, including campaign execution and management (Digital – Display, Audio, Video; Search; Social; Traditional – TV, Radio, OOH, Print).
Proficiency with media tools and platforms such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, Tableau, and others.
Strong project and campaign management skills, including RFP development, vendor negotiations, trafficking, pacing, and reporting.
Effective communication and collaboration skills – able to manage vendor relationships and support internal teams.
Ability to mentor junior team members.
