Account Manager – Office Equipment Group The Account Manager will assist in implementing and growing GreatAmerica’s Office Equipment Group (OEG) solutions by working directly with customers to demonstrate how our offerings meet their needs. The role includes being a resident expert on OEG products, tailoring presentations for diverse audiences, and strengthening overall customer partnerships.
Responsibilities Produce a high volume of account activities, originating new business and driving growth within existing accounts.
Develop an in‑depth understanding of OEG products and services to provide accurate sales presentations and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver an outstanding GreatAmerica experience, increasing market share and generating net new business.
Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, technical requirements, availability, and usage.
Serve as backup contact for customers via phone and Teams, discussing their needs and explaining GreatAmerica’s offerings.
Assist follow‑up efforts to furnish potential customers with necessary information to become OEG partners.
Research and analyze competitors, clearly communicating our differentiators.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure day‑to‑day operations, vendor servicing, onboarding, and consistent communication.
Maintain, track, and analyze customer records using automated systems.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product training sessions, proposals, and demonstrations.
Assist with content creation for marketing initiatives.
Maintain direct relationships with OEG vendor base to support current and future business needs, providing sales and marketing support.
Understand factors influencing success for small businesses, especially independent equipment providers.
Act in alignment with GreatAmerica principles throughout all tasks.
Provide backup support to team members and complete other duties as assigned.
Complete expense reports, sales reports, and other required paperwork.
Qualifications One to two years of related experience.
Experience selling or supporting financial products and services is desirable.
Proficient computer skills.
Natural interest and propensity for working with computer technology and applications.
