Job Overview

Senior Art Director (Plush Category) – full‑time contract position. Lead creative development and execution for hero campaigns, digital content, e‑commerce, social media, and photography. Reporting to the Creative Director. Opportunity to convert to full‑time regular.
Responsibilities

Understand brand positioning and business goals to develop integrated campaigns and activations supporting long‑term strategy.
Lead visual and creative development from concept through execution across digital, print, social media, and video platforms.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (brand marketing, strategists, product design, and leadership) to align creative work with business objectives and brand standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Present concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders with clear rationale tied to brand goals.
Plan and art‑direct photo and video shoots, including pre‑production, on‑set direction, and post‑production oversight.
Mentor junior team members while working independently.
Qualifications

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and comfortable managing multiple projects.
Skilled at delivering a high volume of creative output.
Awareness of cultural trends in design, social media, music, television, and film.
Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively work with all stakeholders.
Preferred: Prior experience working with creative ad agencies.
Compensation

Hourly rate: $55–$60 per hour (New York). Final pay will be dependent on experience, education, and other factors.
