Brand Designer – Nordic SaaS Visual Identity

Twine · Multiple locations ·

Pay: 60.000 - 80.000

Job type: Full Time

A Nordic SaaS platform is seeking a skilled Brand Designer to create a complete visual identity for a new structured learning management solution. The platform’s first market is Norwegian driving schools, but the brand must be versatile enough to expand into other domains where learners progress through a curriculum toward certification. The target audience includes small‑business owners and office staff who are evaluating modern alternatives to legacy software. The desired brand aesthetic is Nordic‑professional, prioritizing trust and clarity over excitement, and drawing inspiration from brands like Linear, Stripe, Vipps, and Things 3. The visual identity should avoid common clichés and instead leverage metaphors such as examination, calibration, proofreading marks, and geometric craft. The primary logo must be embroidery‑ready, working in a single thread color at small sizes, with limited shading reserved for promotional contexts. Deliverables include a primary mark, horizontal and stacked lockups, wordmark‑only version, favicon set, app icon, social card, and clear‑space/minimum‑size documentation. Source files should be provided in Figma or Illustrator, along with an SVG with named, unmerged layers for future animation.

Deliverables

Design a primary logo mark that is embroidery‑ready and legible at small sizes

Create horizontal and stacked lockups, wordmark‑only version, favicon set, 1024px app icon, and 1200×630 social card

Develop clear‑space and minimum‑size documentation for all assets

Provide source files in Figma or Illustrator, plus an SVG with named, unmerged layers for animation

Ensure the visual identity aligns with a Nordic‑professional aesthetic and avoids industry clichés

Requirements

Proven experience in brand identity design, preferably for SaaS or technology platforms

Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, and versatile logo work

Expertise in Figma and/or Adobe Illustrator

Ability to create assets suitable for both digital and physical applications (e.g., embroidery)

Understanding of visual metaphors such as examination, calibration, and geometric craft

Attention to detail and ability to deliver organized, animation‑ready files

Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret and execute on a detailed brief

Availability for potential follow‑up work, including logo animation and additional design elements
