Sales Manager (ALC)
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
The Sales Manager oversees sales activities of the organization by managing personnel and implementing sales and marketing programs to maximize distribution and profitability. This role is responsible for training, supervising, and evaluating sales staff, conducting sales reviews with key customers, ensuring product quality, and maintaining effective communication across functions.
Responsibilities
Maximize sales of all products through established programs.
Supervise, train, and evaluate sales personnel.
Conduct sales reviews with key customers.
Ensure quality of product, service, customer rapport via supervision and personal auditing.
Communicate with assigned personnel about competitive activity and market execution.
Inspect equipment weekly to reduce repair costs.
Direct department operations and spend within budgets.
Train, guide, and monitor quality assurance standards and maintain audit records.
Coordinate with warehouse manager and other departments for production, ordering, sales, etc.
Ensure product exposure via merchandising, POS, displays.
Oversee operations and management staff in GM absence.
Present professional image to customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage staff in sales, merchandising, delivery, and service.
Direct, coordinate, and evaluate unit performance.
Conduct hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewards, disciplinary actions, complaints resolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent, or 4-10 years related experience, or equivalent.
Must meet company driver qualifications.
Reading, writing, and communication skills; ability to present information.
Mathematical skills: basic algebra and calculations.
Travel 20% of time.
Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, draw conclusions.
Data entry ability using Ten-Key, keyboard procedures.
