About the Role
Are you a creative thinker who loves bringing ideas to life through high quality, on brand design? As a Graphic Designer within our Global Marketing Communications team, you will play a key role in shaping how our brand, products, and stories are experienced around the world. This is a hands‑on, creative role where your work will directly support global marketing initiatives, campaigns, and commercial success.

Responsibilities

Designing a wide range of creative assets from concept through final production, including printed sales collateral, digital advertising, email campaigns, videos, social media graphics, and tradeshow materials

Delivering multiple design approaches tailored to different business needs while maintaining strong focus on brand consistency and business outcomes

Supporting the creation of Global Toolboxes in partnership with Marketing Communications Account Managers

Applying the Smith+Nebhew brand guidelines creatively while acting as a global brand champion

Managing print production requirements, including file preparation, versioning, archiving, and quality control

Managing assets and workflows within the Digital Asset Management system

Collaborating closely with senior designers, copywriters, marcom account managers, Global Brand, and other stakeholders

Translating product features and benefits into compelling visual storytelling built around customer needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field

5 or more years of professional graphic design experience, with agency or internal agency experience preferred

Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, and After Effects

Solid understanding of marketing communications, storytelling, and brand‑driven design

Strong organizational and project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently

Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, feedback‑driven creative environment

Salaried/hourly roles: The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 USD annually (or hourly). The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as EAP.
