The Wilbert Group is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to grow with our team. We are a full-service public relations, digital media and content firm based in Atlanta with a national reach. Our clients span commercial real estate, professional services, retail, nonprofits and other industries.

The ideal candidate has a degree in public relations, communications or a related field, along with 2+ years of PR experience. This person is a strong writer, understands media strategy and pitching, can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn our clients’ businesses. Experience supporting executive thought leadership, crisis communications and LinkedIn programs is a plus. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, proactive and excited to work with our client teams to produce high-quality, thoughtful work.

Responsibilities
Write first drafts of press releases, media alerts, LinkedIn content and other PR materials
Develop media lists using Muck Rack and other research tools
Pitch media and build strong relationships with journalists
Support day-to-day account execution across multiple clients, ensuring projects move forward on time and at a high standard
Take thorough notes and update project trackers ahead of client calls
Create monthly reports using internal tools and software
Learn clients’ businesses and stay informed on industry news and trends that impact them
Follow internal systems and processes, including time tracking and workflow management
